The Dentistry Show 2014 is quickly approaching, providing an excellent opportunity for dental professionals to gain valuable expertise and advice from industry experts. The show has made a number of changes since its successful appearance in 2013, and visitors should be aware of the new offerings the show will feature this year.
First of all, there will be four new hands-on workshops for visitors to experience: the GPD Theatre, Aesthetic Dentist Conference, Hygienist and Therapist Symposium, and Dental Nurses Forum. These will be joining the workshops from previous years, such as the return of the Core CPD Theatre.
The theatre, focusing on continuous professional development (CPD), will cover topics such as infection control, medical emergencies, radiation protection and recognising oral cancer. The theatre is going to be running for two days this year after its popularity at 2013’s show.

Also new to the Dentistry Show in 2014 is the Short-Term Ortho (STO) Lounge. This was a feature of 2013’s show, but is now back bigger and better. You can hear from popular UK STO suppliers, who can help you understand the benefits and training requirements of the systems available to you and your practice.
There is also the Heart your Smile party. The charity, sponsored this year by Designer Dental, will see awareness raised for its cause at a fun event – enabling you and your team to let your hair down and enjoy a glass of wine or two.
