Dental professionals are being invited to attend an open day at a new dental unit that is opening at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) this summer.
On August 9th, experts can check out the UCLan Dental Clinic, which is set to open in September to provide on-campus dental care to students, reports Dentistry.co.uk.
StJohn Crean, dean of the School of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education at UCLan, described the dental unit as an “exciting development” for the university.
He said: “On on-campus clinic will give students and staff access to first-class dental services and allow our dental students an amazing opportunity to develop their clinical skills without leaving the university.”
Paul Walsh, clinical director of the UCLan Dental Clinic, added a full range of dental services are going to be provided at the facility when it opens in September.
UCLan is based in Preston, although there are departments spread out over the whole of the north-west of England.
