Make sure you have high-quality marketing at your next exhibition

Dental exhibitions are excellent chances to promote your practice to a range of audiences. However, there is no point in attending one if you are not prepared to market your services as fully as possible. They are great chances to get your practice’s name known, so they should not be wasted.

Probably the most common mistake dentists make when attending these events is turning up without proper marketing materials. You might think you don’t need to have any, as you can promote your practice well enough on your own, but you have to remember that you can’t force people to come over and talk to you.

This is where the first aspect of marketing materials comes in: attracting people’s attention. You need to convince people to visit your stand in the first place before you have the opportunity to say a word to them, and the best way to do this is to make good use of the materials available to you.

Designer Dental sells a range of pop-up and roll-up stands that you can use to encourage people to come over to your stand. These will be the first thing that most people will see before they come over and see what you have to offer, so they need to be fairly convincing.

Of course, once people come over to your stand, you can promote your practice yourself. However, once they have left and seen what other people have to offer, how are you going to stick in their mind? If every dentist at the exhibition is just as good at self-promotion as you are, you will need to find an edge over them.

One way you can do this is by having plenty of leaflets and brochures on your stand to give out to people once you have talked to them. This is an excellent way to be remembered. It just gives people a little reminder of what you have talked about, to jog their memory.

You might have plenty of marketing materials, but are they suitable for every occasion? For most people this won’t be the case. Every dental exhibition is different and you will be marketing your services to a range of audiences. You won’t be able to use the same leaflets and stands for every occasion.

It can be difficult to work out what you should include in your materials, but thankfully Designer Dental is able to help out in that respect. The company has a number of dental marketing experts who can tailor your material to your exact needs. This way, you can be sure that you will be prepared for every different scenario.

You might find that this is exactly what your practice needs to put it on the map and bring a range of new patients through its doors. A good showing at a dental exhibition is a great chance to show people what you are capable of as a dentist, and why your practice is right for them.
