A wide range of major brand names have confirmed they are going to be taking part in the upcoming National Smile Month campaign in order to improve oral health standards in the UK.
Among the big companies to have signed up to the scheme are chewing gum manufacturer Wrigley and mouthwash maker Listerine, as well as Oral-B and Steradent.
Stores including Argos, Aldi and Lloyds Pharmacy are also on board with the promotions being held to coincide with National Smile Month, which is set to run from May 20th to June 20th.
Chief executive of the British Dental Health Foundation Dr Nigel Carter advised dentists considering taking part to ensure they plan their events well in advance.
“If you need ideas, help promoting your event or are looking to get your hands on some resources to bring your event to life, visit www.smilemonth.org for all the help you’ll need,” he said.
According to the organisers of National Smile Month, the event is the perfect time to head to the dentist for a check-up on oral health standards.
