The British Dental Health Federation has announced it has elected a new president.
John Siebert, the current chairman of George Warman Publications, has been confirmed as taking the role for the next two years.
He replaces Daniel Davis, who was thanked by Mr Siebert for his work at the oral health organisation.
Mr Siebert has stepped into the role in his tenth year of involvement at the federation and noted: “The Trustees and I are looking forward to increasing awareness of the foundation’s role and activities within the profession and the general public.”
He added he believes the reputation of the body has come a long way over the course of the last few decades, pointing out the aim is to improve the oral health of the nation.
The foundation runs a helpline that has dealt with more than 250,000 calls since its creation, dealing with a large range of dental enquiries from the public.
