Dental professionals who want to go to this year’s British Dental Association (BDA) Christmas lecture are now able to enter a ballot for tickets for the event.
The lecture, which is set to take place at the BDA’s London headquarters on December 13th, is sure to be a popular occasion so those who want to go need to enter the ballot before the draw takes place on November 29th.
Tickets are free and available to BDA members only and those who attend will qualify for one hour’s verifiable continuing professional development as a result.
Professor Alastair Sloan, head of tissue engineering and reparative dentistry at Cardiff University School of Dentistry has been confirmed as giving the Christmas BDA lecture and the speech will address the subject of regenerative dentistry and stem cells: current thoughts and research.
The BDA is the professional association and trade union for dentists in the UK and was founded in 1880. It provides collective representation of the profession in its dealings with governments and employing authorities.
