Bad breath ’caused by plaque stagnating’

Dental marketing campaigns may include tips on how individuals with bad breath can solve the issue, with plaque remaining in the mouth the reason behind the problem.

According to The Fulham Dentist, writing for the Fulham Chronicle, many people do not brush their teeth well enough to remove all the plaque in their mouths.

It was noted by the specialist that one of the main ways to ensure plaque if removed from teeth is to regularly book an appointment with a dental hygienist.

“She removes that nasty family of bacteria and shows you how to make sure they never stay and multiply, she removes those hard deposits of calculus and she shows you just what a toothbrush can do,” it was added by the expert.

Dr Brian Franks, clinical director of dentistry for Bupa Health and Wellbeing, recently highlighted the fact that a build-up of plaque in the mouth is caused by an inability to clean teeth properly.
