Free dental drop-in sessions are being put on in Milton Keynes in a bid to improve the oral health of people from the area.
According to Mel Foxall from the Oral Health Promotion Team, the facility is free to access for those who are not registered with an NHS dentist, reports the Milton Keynes Citizen.
She said: "Our dental drop-in sessions at the Children's Centres are a great way of helping families to develop good oral health for their children from an early age."
Dentists will carry out an assessment of the child's teeth and gums before applying fluoride varnish in line with Department of Health recommendations.
Kids will then be given a toothbrush pack and advice on how to keep their mouth healthy.
The Daily Mirror recently reported it is important to change a toothbrush regularly, recommending this is done every three months, although people should wait for half an hour after eating before brushing.
